Thinking Christianly about the American Past
About
I am a professor of U. S. history at Wheaton College, a Christian liberal arts institution just west of Chicago, where I am privileged to hold the Arthur F. Holmes Chair of Faith and Learning.
Before coming to Wheaton, I taught for twenty-two years at the University of Washington, where I received that university’s Distinguished Award and held the Logan Chair in American History.
